I have never been a casual painter. It’s never been enough to just draw or paint for the sake of drawing and painting. It doesn’t work for me. I’ve always had to have a plan, or work on a series of related images to feel like I accomplished something. I’m not particularly fast. A better adjective would be dogged. While I think I have learned and grown as an artist over my more than fifty years of practice, the fact is that my best work is scattered across the entire length of my career. The galleries on this website are a selection from these works. I have organized them first according to media, but I have made them searchable through a variety of terms.
