I’ve started a new pastel measuring 37” high. The drawing is blocked in using compressed charcoal pencils and is now ready for the application of pastel. Compositional issues have been worked out as well as most of the most difficult drawing challenges.

This year I have two prints in the Artlink National Print Exhibition in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I am honored that one of the two prints, a piece titled “A Marionette”, received a top prize in the exhibition. Above: A Marionette. Etching & Aquatint. 9 x 5 in.
