Time Piece – Pastel

This past winter I entered this piece titled “Time Piece” into the 17th Annual Pastel 100 Competition.

Not only was I pleased to have been accepted into the show but to my surprise, I won the Founders Award which is the top prize, which is an amazing feat considering all the incredibly talented artists I had the honor of competing with.

As if all of that weren’t wonderful enough, the top winner of this annual competition also gets featured in the magazine! John Parks of the Pastel Journal wrote, I thought, an outstanding 2-page article on me and my work, which appeared in the April 2016 issue.
